• After dinner the public is invited to listen and dance to Air National Guard Band of the Central States as the Services of the Air National Guard Band of the Central States is being provided at no charge to the Sedalia 150 Committee. - 9 p.m. - 12 a.m.
Saturday October 9, 2010 - The Union Pacific Sedalia Sesquicentennial Express
Union Pacific Steam Locomotive, Challenger 3985, will bring the Sedalia Sesquicentennial Express to Sedalia on the afternoon of October 9th.
The westbound train will arrive in Sedalia at 2:45 p.m. and will be placed on a siding for public viewing until Sunday afternoon. There will be no public excursions, but the Souvenir Car may be open for purchases of Union Pacific items.
The Sedalia Amtrak depot will be open for a public reception from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
