The whole community is invited to participate in the many events planned for 2010. Churches, businesses, clubs and other organizations with milestone anniversaries in 2010 are encouraged to be a special part of the Sesquicentennial celebration. Contact the Heritage Committee with any historic photos and other mementos that can be shared with the whole community.

You’re invited … 

to share your favorite Sedalia memory or your vision for the future of Sedalia. Your comments will be video recorded and will become part of a DVD entitled: “Share the Journey: 150 Years of the Sedalia Adventure.” This souvenir record of Sedalia’s history is being produced as part of Sedalia’s Sesquicentennial celebration.

If you were unable to attend the recording session on October 10, and you have a photo(s) you would like to have included in the souvenir record, you may mail a copy of your photo(s) (color photocopy, please) to Becky Imhauser  616 ½ S. Ohio  Sedalia, MO 65301. Digital files (300 dpi) may be e-mailed to Imhauser@charter.net. Please submit photos prior to December 1, 2009, and include your name, contact information, and a brief description of photo’s significance. The photos you submit cannot be returned; they will become part of the Sesquicentennial archives.
